I don't know about you guys,but i think that using voice communication in PVE is unnecessary,and of course i have a couple of reasons:
The first reason is the lag,and that's why some people avoid it so much.Why use something that will slow your game even more?
Secondly,since everybody knows the tactics,why should i hear all that screaming instead of focusing on the task ahead?It's pretty confusing in my opinion.
Not to mention people sneezing,putting music,speaking with the voice volume retardetly high,screaming for fun,etc.
And mostly,people don't even talk about tactics!they're all like talking about how much they want an item or even RL stuff.It also annoys me when other people join the channel that have nothing to do with the raid but they got nothing else to do but ask us how are we doing!
Lastly,the thing that bothers me the most is when people say tactics/make decisions on TS.Why would you say tactics only to half of the people(because you never get all of them joining TS) and leave the others clueless?And why on earth would you ask "who wants the X item" on TS?I lost an item that way,it never got linked on the raid char and suddenly a guy got it,afterwards i heard they planned it on TS(i even was on TS and i did hear them talking about an "item" but didn't hear specifically which one.(not blaming anyone here,not ment to be offensive).

So if you're like TFL;DR well here's my oppinion on short notice:Voice communication is fine for pvp,but its pretty unnecessary in Pve since everybody with half a brain and his sister can read the tactics on raid chat(should know them anyway)

It's very neccessary, we wiped continuously on valithria on 25n and when 13 people got on ts and i told them what to do we managed to down her, it is needed for coordonating hard bosses, if you have high lag, of course i'll allow it that you skip the participation on ts.

And No, not everyone knows what to do obviously, we don't have a nucleus of players yet that they know what to do at every given time, when we do, it will probably become obsolete, until then i demand we use it in case we wipe.

well,at least now you know why you won't find me on it

I don't requier tanks on ts because they know what to do, it's a strict and linear job and you're only 2-3, dps however they are frantic and need to be organized, so do healers on valithria

Well of course. Ts helped here, but that's not the solution of problem that peepz don't know tactics. They must know it before going to raid. Do not recruit the clueless etc.. Take some time and talk with them before/after inviting.

yes i am going to try that, tried with a few today talked them into the right direction
